Safer-Media Initiative and 25 other partners worked with the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ), on the Collaborative Media Engagement for Development Inclusivity and Accountability (CMEDIA) Project from 2022 to 2025.
CMEDIA was a multi-level intervention for media freedom and accountability at the subnational level and in the private sector.
It aimed to accelerate public enlightenment and the ecosystem for transparency, accountability, and good governance and amplify marginalised voices.
The project was funded by the MacArthur Foundation.
