We are supporting journalists to produce investigative stories! In 2022, we have provided funds to ten journalists to support investigative stories. The beneficiaries were selected among journalists who participated in our free training held in Abuja and Makurdi-Benue State in July 2022.
Each beneficiary of the funds receives a hundred thousand naira to execute an investigative story project of great impact. They will work on their reporting project with assigned mentor and oversight supervision from SMI. Stories produced with the funds will be cross-published by the beneficiary’s media outlet and SMI’s platforms.
